About the Artist

My name is Regina McSorley and I am an artist living in Northern Ireland. 

I live with my husband and 2 children on our farm in Draperstown, Co. Derry in the heart of the Sperrin Mountains.

I find this area of outstanding natural beauty to be a huge inspiration to me and many of my paintings are of local scenes.

I paint in my spare time, usually with oils, but sometimes I use pastels or acrylics. My preferred subjects are landscapes and I love to capture natural scenes using light and shadow to create atmospheric and engaging paintings.
